Organize into Classes

Classes help you organize students and assign vocabulary decks to groups.

  1. Go to "Class Management" in the sidebar
  2. Click "Create New Class"
  3. Enter a name (e.g., "English 7A", "Spanish Beginners")
  4. Set the mother tongue and target language — this is essential for correct flashcard directions, text-to-speech, and AI features
  5. Add students by selecting from your student list
  6. Save your class - you can edit it anytime

The language settings determine how cards are displayed during practice (which side is shown first), which language is used for text-to-speech, and how AI grading works.

Track Student Progress

Monitor how your students are doing with detailed performance analytics.

  • See which students have practiced recently
  • View accuracy rates and time spent
  • Identify difficult words students struggle with
  • Export performance reports for grading

How Spaced Repetition Works

ClassCards uses the Leitner system to optimize learning. Cards move through 5 boxes based on student performance:

Daily 1 2 Days 2 4 Days 3 Week 4 Mastered 5 Wrong → Back to Box 1
