Welcome to ClassCards! This guide will help you get the most out of your vocabulary learning experience. Learn how to practice effectively and track your progress.

Getting Started

Logging In

Your teacher will provide you with login credentials. Here's how to access your account:

  1. Go to the ClassCards homepage
  2. Click "Login" in the top right corner
  3. Enter your username and password
  4. Click "Login" to access your dashboard
Tip: If you forgot your password, ask your teacher to reset it for you.

Your Dashboard

Your dashboard shows everything you need:

  • Your assigned vocabulary decks
  • How many cards are due for review
  • Your overall progress and statistics
  • Quick access to start practicing

Practicing Vocabulary

Starting a Practice Session

  1. Click on a deck from your dashboard
  2. Click "Practice" to start
  3. Review cards and rate how well you knew them

Flashcard Mode

The classic way to learn vocabulary:

  1. See the word on the front of the card
  2. Think of the translation
  3. Press Space or click "Show Answer" to flip
  4. Rate yourself: Again (1), Hard (2), Good (3), or Easy (4)

Speed up your practice with these shortcuts:

Space Flip card / Show answer
1 Again - I didn't know it
2 Hard - I struggled
3 Good - I knew it
4 Easy - It was too easy

Understanding Your Progress

Spaced Repetition

ClassCards uses a smart system called "spaced repetition" to help you remember words better:

Again → See the card again in 10 min
Hard → See the card again in ~1 hour
Good → See the card again tomorrow
Easy → See the card again in 4 days

The more you remember a word, the longer the interval becomes. Words you struggle with appear more often until you master them!

Your Statistics

Track your learning progress:

  • Cards Reviewed - Total cards you've studied today
  • Accuracy - Percentage of cards you got right
  • Streak - Consecutive correct answers
  • Progress - How much of the deck you've learned

Adding Personal Vocabulary

You can add your own vocabulary for extra practice directly from your dashboard:

  1. On your dashboard, click "Add to Personal Deck"
  2. Enter the front (word) and back (translation) for your card
  3. Your personal cards appear in your main practice flow alongside teacher-assigned vocabulary

Note: Your personal decks are private and won't be seen by your teacher or classmates. All your vocabulary is practiced together using spaced repetition!
